Complete Food Screening

$195.00

Understand your dog’s diet before problems begin.

Bringing a new dog or puppy home is exciting. But navigating food choices can be a minefield. Every day you’re making decisions about proteins, treats, kibble, toppers, and table scraps… often without knowing what their system can genuinely handle.

Most dogs tolerate a wide range of foods. But some ingredients can quietly cause digestive upsets, itchy skin, restlessness, or unpredictable behaviour, sometimes weeks or months down the track.

The Paw Print Health Complete Food Screening test is designed for preventative care.
It gives you clear insight into how your dog responds to common foods before irritation, stomach issues, or sensitivities start to appear. Perfect for puppies, newly adopted dogs, or owners who simply want peace of mind.

Our test uses a simple fur sample from your dog’s brush. Our lab then screens a wide range of everyday food ingredients (200 items in total): proteins, grains, vegetables, fruits, oils and more, so you can make confident choices from the beginning.

Within two weeks, you’ll receive a personalised report showing:

  • Which foods your dog may find harder to tolerate

  • Food categories that may trigger digestive or skin flare-ups in the future

  • Which proteins and ingredients are safer starting points for puppies or new dogs

  • Practical feeding recommendations to build a balanced, comfortable diet

  • Clear guidance to avoid unnecessary tummy troubles, itching, or trial-and-error food changes

No more guessing, hoping, or switching foods without a plan. Just simple, practical insights that help you choose the right nutrition from day one, reducing the chance of future issues and setting your dog up for long-term health.

Feed with confidence. Prevent problems before they start. Give your dog the healthiest possible start.

What our customers are saying...

The report identified he was intolerant to wool. We were able to make an immediate change for him by removing the woollen bedding out of his bed. We have seen marvellous results; he does not scratch and lick constantly and the angry patches on his belly and around his tail have begun to grow hair again.

I was desperately seeking a solution to my dogs vomiting and diarrhoea. What came back was severe allergies to specific proteins, metals, vegetables and environmental allergens... the hypo allergenic biscuits had fish oil in them and he’s allergic to fish. I am so grateful to Paw Print.

Since getting the results we have passed them on to and spoken with an Holistic Vet who has advised and given us choices for natural elimination diets, vitamins and probiotics. We feel much more positive and confident on how we have chosen to proceed over the next few months. Very pleased with this so far- thank you.

We are now adjusting his diet (and treats!) to minimise agitation and keeping an eye on some of the other possible irritants too. Thanks for the great report!

It was very interesting reading about what my dog is sensitive too. This has made me look closer at the ingredients in the food I feed her .

(It's) been one week. Peaches is so much better, she is running around again keeping her eye on everyone and everything. Is having more veggies and is enjoying them. I think it has been well worth it. Should have done a long time ago. Thank you very much.

The results have been extremely helpful! The report was clear, detailed, and easy to understand, giving me insights into her sensitivities. It’s already made a big difference in how we manage her diet and wellbeing. It’s been a GAME CHANGER for us. Highly recommend to anyone wanting answers and guidance!

Dog intolerances can take many forms

It's often not just one thing that causes our dogs to scratch or have an upset stomach. Likewise, a dog can often be intolerant to the most unexpected things.

That's where Paw Print Health began. With one dog, Harry, who had what seemed like an untreatable intolerance that made him constantly unwell.
