Hi, I’m Ken, founder of Paw Print Health and proud dog dad to Harry, our much loved Cavoodle.

Paw Print began with a simple idea: what if we could understand our dogs’ future health before problems arise?

It was inspired by Harry himself. He had always been an energetic part of our family, but we started noticing occasional stiffness and limping. Our vet thought it was nothing serious, but something didn’t sit right with me. Around the same time, Harry was also having stomach and bowel issues, particularly after spending time with younger family members (who loved to sneak him snacks).

To get to the bottom of it, I ran a test, the very same test Paw Print now offers. The results were eye opening. We discovered that Harry had a genetic risk for a serious spinal condition called IVDD, and that he was sensitive to a handful of common foods like beef, soy and lactose. We changed his diet, adjusted his lifestyle and spoke with our vet using this new knowledge. Today, Harry is thriving, and that early insight may have added years to his life.

That experience convinced me how valuable proactive testing could be, not just for us, but for millions of dog owners who want the very best for their pets.
