Stop guessing what’s causing your dog’s skin or stomach issues.

If your dog struggles with itchy skin, paw licking, ear irritation, or an upset stomach that keeps coming back, you’re not alone.

Most dog owners end up stuck in trial and error, changing foods, trying supplements, booking vet visits, and still not getting clear answers.

These issues are rarely random. Hidden food and environmental intolerances are often the underlying trigger, quietly affecting your dog’s skin, digestion, and overall comfort.

The Paw Print Health Complete Intolerance Screening is designed to help you understand what’s actually going on, so you can stop treating symptoms and start making informed choices.

What this test does

Using a simple fur sample from your dog’s brush, our lab screens for 470 common food and environmental triggers, including:

·       Proteins, grains, fruits, and vegetables

·       Grasses, pollens, moulds, and dust mites

Within two weeks, you receive a clear, personalised report, reviewed by a vet, that shows you:

·       Which food and environmental factors may be contributing to flare-ups

·       How your dog’s nutrient balance could be part of the picture, and practical ways to improve it

·       Which foods are best avoided to reduce itching and tummy upsets

·       Simple changes you can make to your dog’s diet and environment

·       Clear next steps you can take right away

No jargon. No guesswork. Just guidance you can actually use.

What our customers are saying…

Happy dog icon

I was desperately seeking a solution to my dog’s vomiting and diarrhoea. The report showed severe sensitivities to specific proteins, metals, vegetables and environmental allergens – even the “hypoallergenic” biscuits had fish oil and he’s allergic to fish. I’m so grateful to Paw Print.

JUNE LOTT

Since getting the results we’ve shared them with a holistic vet, who’s given us clear options for natural elimination diets, vitamins and probiotics. We feel much more positive and confident about the plan for the next few months. Very pleased so far – thank you.

SUE HAMILTON

We’re now adjusting his diet (and treats!) to minimise agitation, and keeping an eye on a few other possible irritants too. The report was clear, detailed and really helpful.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Your Questions, Answered

  • How do your tests work?

It’s simple: Collect a quick fur sample. Complete instructions are included with the test kit. It's easy and stress-free for both you and your dog. Return the sample in the pre-paid package and our experts will analyse the results. Within a few weeks, you’ll receive a detailed health report and personalised wellness plan.

  • What do you test for?

Depending on the test you purchase, we test for your dog’s food and environmental intolerances that could be causing issues like itching, upset stomachs or chronic discomfort. The test uses a fur sample and results are interpreted by a vet to give you clear, personalised insights. More info on the specifics of our test can be found on the How It Works page.

  • How long does it take to receive results and my dog's wellness plan?

Our standard turnaround time is 2-3 weeks from the time we receive your completed test sample. You’ll get email updates along the way.

  • What makes Paw Print Health different from other test providers?

We don’t just give you test results, which are challenging to interpret and apply to your unique situation. Instead, Paw Print Health helps you understand them. With expert vet analysis and a personalised health plan, we offer real solutions to help your pet thrive.

  • Is this the same as an allergy test?

No. Veterinary allergy testing (blood or skin) is different. Our test screens for intolerances that may affect wellbeing, and helps guide practical changes you can try at home.

  • Can I buy supplements and food tailored to my dog’s results and ongoing needs?

No, we purposely do not sell supporting products. When we provide recommendations for your dog, we want you to know these recommendations are not influenced by Paw Print wanting to sell you foods, supplements etc.

  • Where Do You Ship To?

Paw Print Health currently ships to New Zealand and Australia. The cost of shipping your test and the return of your test samples is included in your purchase price. Please contact us if you would like to enquire about shipping to other countries.
