Every Paw Print Health test is designed to be easy for you and stress-free for your dog. Here's how each one works.

STEP 1: CHOOSE YOUR TEST

    Choose between our Complete Intolerance Screening and our Complete Food Screening.

    The Complete Intolerance Screening checks for 470 possible sensitivities, including foods and environmental factors. This test is designed for dogs that already show symptoms and for owners who want to understand the cause and fix the issue.

    The Complete Food Screening checks for 200 potential food sensitivities. The test is perfect for those with a new dog (including puppies over six months old), who want to understand the safest mix of foods to feed their dog.

Step 2: Collect Your Dog's Sample

Each kit comes with simple instructions and all materials are provided.

Collect a fur sample from your dog's brush. Be sure to clean out old hairs prior to collecting the sample. Either wash your hands or wear gloves when collecting the hair, to avoid contamination of the sample.

If your dog does not easily shed on a brush, it is fine to gently cut it's hair.

Place the fur sample in the provided clear plastic ziplock pouch.

STEP 3: RETURN YOUR DOG'S SAMPLE

    Place the ziplock pouch containing your dog's sample in the pre-paid courier pack included with your kit.

    Samples are securely sent to our testing laboratory in the United Kingdom via a local forwarding address in your country.

Step 4: SCIENCE AT WORK

    Our laboratory conducts a world-leading test, ranking your dog's sensitivity to each tested item.

    We report on items showing a sensitivity above 85%, suggesting the dog is very likely to show signs associated with an intolerance to that item.

    All results are checked for accuracy and reviewed by a laboratory technician and veterinarian.

STEP 5: Receive YOUR DOG'S WELLNESS PLAN

    You’ll receive a personalised, easy-to-understand report on your dog's sensitivities, along with a comprehensive set of recommendations.

    Clear explanations are delivered in plain English, so you can make changes to your dog's diet or environment to help them feel their very best.
